Anne-Catherine Rasson is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Namur, and a Visiting Professor at Francisco Ferrer High School. She is a member of the Interdisciplinary Centre for Children's Rights (CIDE) and the Constitutional Law Unit at Unamur.
Her research focuses on children's rights, constitutional law, and filiation law, with specific attention to legal reform in Belgium, intersex rights, and gender-based violence. Her work explores the intersection of constitutional protections and child rights, particularly in cases involving parental alienation, incest prohibitions, and child repatriation from conflict zones like Syria.
The themes of her recent publications include constitutional law, family law, and human rights, with subfields such as filiation disputes, judicial procedures, and legal case studies. Her research often addresses the practical implications of constitutional rulings on child rights.
She collaborates with scholars like Géraldine Mathieu and Hugues Vuye, and her projects include studies on the Constitutional Court's impact on family law and intersex bodily integrity.
