Anne Alexander is an academic leader at the University of Wyoming, serving as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics (College of Business) and currently holding the role of Assistant Dean. She has held multiple senior administrative roles including Interim Provost, Associate Vice President for Undergraduate Education, and Director of International Programs. Her academic career spans over 25 years with expertise in economics, policy analysis, and international affairs.
Education: PhD in Economics (University of Wyoming), MA and BBA in Economics (New Mexico State University). Her research focuses on American capitalism history, international economics, health economics, and environmental policy. She has authored influential works on wildlife conservation funding, pandemic economics, and ecosystem valuation.
Professional contributions include leading statewide engagement initiatives, developing undergraduate education policies, and managing international academic partnerships. She has produced annual economic impact reports for Wyoming and conducted high-impact analyses for state agencies, labor unions, and international organizations.
