Annabeth Kemp

Annabeth Kemp is a Senior Lecturer in Science at the School of Arts and Sciences, University of Notre Dame Australia (Fremantle Campus). She joined the institution in 2005 and has held leadership roles as Associate Dean (2011–2013) and Science Program Coordinator (2011–2015). She currently coordinates Biology and Human Biology majors.

Education:

• Bachelor of Science (Environmental Biology), Curtin University of Technology
• PhD in Freshwater Ecology (Curtin University)

Research Interests: Focuses on freshwater ecosystems, phytoplankton taxonomy, and cyanobacterial blooms. Additionally, her work addresses the first-year student experience, work-integrated learning, and student engagement in capstone courses. She consults with the Phytoplankton Ecology Unit and has collaborated with the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation.

Labs/Teams:曾 affiliated with Curtin’s Wetland Research Group and International Diatom Herbarium. Currently involved in undergraduate research supervision and curriculum development.
