Anna Yunitsyna

Anna Yunitsyna is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, University of New York Tirana, with 14 years of experience teaching university and postgraduate courses. She actively contributes to architectural education and research within Albania's academic landscape.

Her research spans housing theory, design, and evaluation with emphasis on energy efficiency and sustainable environments. She investigates Space Syntax Analysis across urban and building scales while pioneering digital fabrication techniques including parametric/algorithmic modeling, 3D printing, and computer-aided design. Her work bridges theoretical frameworks with practical applications in Albanian architectural contexts.

Prof. Yunitsyna has supervised 30 Master's theses and co-authored two Springer-published books: "Current Challenges in Architecture and Urbanism in Albania" and "COVID-19 (Forced) Innovations". She serves as co-chair and editorial board member for two international conferences, participates in five scientific conference boards, and reviews for "Civil Engineering and Architecture" journal. Her publication record includes over 15 journal articles and 29 conference presentations demonstrating consistent scholarly output.
