Dr Antonino Di Raimo is a Professor and Associate Head (Research and Innovation) in the School of Architecture, Art and Design at the University of Portsmouth. He holds a PhD in Architecture Composition and Theory from Sapienza University of Rome. His research focuses on computationalism, radical ecological thought, and the intersection of human embodiment with architectural design. Key areas include trauma-informed design, urban informality, and sustainable practices. Di Raimo has curated major exhibitions like the Albanian Pavilion at the XXI Triennale in Milan and the Tirana Architecture Weeks. He has authored influential books such as *Mente, corpo, informazione* (2016) and contributed to international conferences and projects.
His teaching responsibilities include leading Architecture Design Studios, supervising PhD and Master’s theses, and coordinating the Media Hub.
