Anna Yartseva is a Senior Lecturer in Economics and Programme Leader for the BA Economics programme at Birmingham City University (BCU). Her academic expertise centers on macroeconomic phenomena, particularly property market analysis and forecasting property prices. She has held teaching and research roles in higher education since the 1990s, with funding from universities, corporations, charities, and government bodies. Beyond BCU, she serves as a Senior Examiner for the Assessment and Qualifications Alliance (AQA) in Economics and Business Studies for the past 8 years. Her professional qualifications include a CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting, enhancing her ability to bridge theoretical economics with practical industry insights.
