Anna-Wendy Stevenson

Anna-Wendy Stevenson is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader for the BA (Hons) Applied Music at the University of the Highlands and Islands. She specializes in traditional Scottish music as a performer, composer, and educator. Her work spans international collaborations, such as the 'Far Flung Corners' cultural exchange project and the 'Fuaran nan Eilean' heritage initiative. She has developed innovative blended learning approaches and community partnerships, emphasizing online collaborative environments. Her research focuses on pedagogy, creativity, and the intersection of music with environment and culture. Awards include the MG Alba Music Tutor of the Year and recognition in the Herald Higher Education Awards. She is a member of the Music Research Group and actively contributes to conferences on teaching and sustainability.
