Anna Sieczak

Anna Sieczak is a Senior Lecturer in Landscape Architecture at the University of East London, School of Architecture, Computing and Engineering. She teaches on the MA Professional Landscape Architecture (Conversion), MA Professional Landscape Architecture, and PGDip Landscape Architecture programs. A chartered landscape architect with professional experience at firms like Gillespies and BM, she also developed the L3 LTA program and serves on the Quality Review Panel for London Borough of Tower Hamlets.

Her research focuses on the cognitive role of sketching in landscape education, green-blue infrastructure, active transportation, and urban sociology with emphasis on biodiversity and universal design. Articles explore hand-sketching pedagogy, post-pandemic urban mobility, smart infrastructure micro-interventions, phytoremediation, and work-placement programs. She bridges academic theory with practice through live projects and industry connections.
