Anna Schwenke

Dr. Anna Schwenke is a freelance speech trainer, lecturer, and speaker specializing in rhetorical communication, dialogue skills, and oral communication. Since April 2024, she serves as a lecturer for speech training at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock (hmt Rostock), focusing on theater education students through group and individual lessons. She previously held roles as an honorary lecturer at multiple institutions, speech coach at the Universities of Rostock and Greifswald, and gag writer for the satirical program Extra-3.

Education:

• Bachelor's/Master's in Speech Science, Phonetics, Rehabilitation Pedagogy, and German as a Foreign Language (2004–2010) at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg
• Doctorate (2019) with a thesis on radio news speaking styles, supported by the German Academic Scholarship Foundation
