Anna Ryan Moloney is an Associate Professor at the School of Architecture & Product Design, University of Limerick, specializing in landscape, coastal studies, and spatial representation through writing, drawing, and photography. She has been affiliated with the Ralahine Centre for Utopian Studies and holds academic qualifications from University College Dublin, University College Cork, and the University of Limerick.

Her research explores intersections of landscape and architectural theory, with a focus on coastal environments, spatial experience, and writing methodologies. She has supervised multiple doctoral and M.Arch. students, including Sharon OBrien (2020), Eimear Tynan (2022), and Claire Downey (2023). Her 2012 monograph Where Land Meets Sea was republished by Routledge in 2016.
Anna has received four scientific awards, including the Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship (2003) and the Shannon Consortium Regional Award shortlisting (2011). Her recent publications include architectural critiques and theoretical work on intergenerational spaces and coastal landscapes. She has taught modules spanning design studios, architectural history, drawing, and digital representation across multiple semesters.
