Anna Luise Schubert

Anna Luise Schubert is a Research Fellow and Coordinator of the Lise Meitner Research Group ‘Coded Objects’ at the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz (Max Planck Society). Her work integrates experimental, collaborative, and queer research practices, focusing on modern architectural material histories through exhibitions, films, and public interventions. She is affiliated with the Centre for Documentary Architecture and the Förderverein Palast der Republik e.V., addressing urban memory politics in Berlin.

• Education: Master’s in Architecture from Bauhaus-Universität Weimar

Her research explores intersections of architecture, memory, and materiality. Notable projects include the exhibition series 'The Matter of Data' (2019–2022), the film 'Deep White' (2019), and co-editing Are You a Model? (2024).
