Luise Schuhmann

Luise Schuhmann is a Lecturer in the Interior Architecture program at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle since 2025. Her teaching focuses on navigating the interplay between theory and practice across typologies, surfaces, objects, and processes. She holds a Diplomingenieur (MEng) degree in Architecture from the Technical University of Dresden (2022).

• Research Interests: Spannungsfeld zwischen Theorie und Praxis, Urban Planning, Interior Design, Community Engagement, Exhibition Design, and Typologies.

• Scientific Awards: Recipient of the Graduate Funding (Stipendiat*in) from Saxony-Anhalt state in 2024 and 2025.

Professional Activities: Concurrently employed at an architectural office, working on competitions, studies, and planning phases from urban design to interior spaces. Independently developed the exhibition "Gemeinsam für die Gemeinschaft – Ehrenamt in Zeitz" with Lena Beetz and "Gesellschaftsdenken e.V." in 2024.
