Anna Lindsay

Dr. Anna Lindsay is a Senior Lecturer in Biomedical Sciences at Northumbria University, where she completed her PhD in Molecular Biology. Her research focuses on prophage-encoded virulence factors in Streptococcus pyogenes and Streptococcus equi, investigating molecular mechanisms of bacterial pathogenicity.

As a member of the Society for General Microbiology, she contributes to advancing microbiological research and education. Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate courses in biomedical sciences with an emphasis on laboratory techniques and molecular characterization.
