Anna Liguori is an Associate Professor of International Law at the University of Naples 'L'Orientale' (Department of Human and Social Sciences). She holds visiting positions at institutions including Universidad de Chile (2024), Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (2024), and University of Deusto (2021). Her academic background includes a doctorate in Internal and Community Public Law from Second University of Naples.
Her research focuses on human rights, migration and asylum law, and climate litigation. She examines state responsibility in border externalization, climate-induced migration, and the jurisprudence of international courts. Her recent work analyzes how climate change intersects with human mobility and legal accountability mechanisms.
