Adele Del Guercio

Adele Del Guercio is Associate Professor of International Law at the Department of Human and Social Sciences, University of Naples L'Orientale. She teaches European Union Law for undergraduate programs and International Environmental Law for master's programs, while also directing the Legal and Anthropological Clinic on Migration. Her academic affiliations include membership in SIDI (Italian Society of International Law) and editorial roles for journals 'Diritti umani e diritto internazionale' and 'Diritti dell'Uomo. Her research interests focus on international and European migration law, environmental law, human rights with special attention to asylum seekers, LGBTIQ rights, and minor protection. She has developed particular expertise at the intersection of climate change and migration, examining how environmental degradation affects displacement patterns and legal protection frameworks. Her work combines legal analysis with anthropological perspectives on migration phenomena.
