Anna Janiszewska is an Associate Professor at the Department of Regional and Social Geography, Faculty of Geographical Sciences, University of Lodz. She contributes to academia through research, teaching, and organizational activities within the university.
Her research focuses on Social and Economic Geography, with emphasis on topics such as urban depopulation, aging populations, social policy, quality of life, and spatial management. She works extensively on Polish cities and regional dynamics.
She supervises credit, semester, and diploma theses, nurturing student development. Her academic responsibilities also include conducting scientific activities and fostering scientific creativity.
