Anna Grzywacz

Anna Grzywacz, PhD, is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Business and International Relations at Vistula University. She specializes in International Relations with a focus on Southeast Asia, particularly Indonesia and Singapore. Her research explores ASEAN dynamics, discursive politics, and middle power engagement strategies. Dr. Grzywacz holds grants from the National Science Centre (Miniatura 4 and Sonata 17) and was a recipient of the Minister of Science and Higher Education's scholarship for outstanding researchers (2022–2025).

She earned her PhD in Political Science (International Relations) from Warsaw University, focusing on East Asian politics. Her recent work includes analysis of norm diffusion beyond Western frameworks and ASEAN's narrative strategies. She contributed to projects like the EU-funded EANGAGE Think Tank Dialogue (2021–2022).

Research interests span: Southeast Asian geopolitics, ASEAN institutional dynamics, foreign policy narratives of Indonesia/Singapore, discursive approaches to international relations, and middle power agency in global governance.
