Anna Glenngård is an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer at Lund University's School of Economics and Management, Department of Accounting and Corporate Finance. She specializes in health policy, health economics, and healthcare governance with a focus on management control systems in healthcare organizations. Her research spans Swedish healthcare systems and low-income countries, addressing provider payment models and healthcare financing.
Education: PhD in 'Objectives, actors and accountability in quasi-markets: Studies of Swedish primary care' (2013, Lund University). She advises national and international bodies including WHO, World Bank, and Swedish health authorities. Current research explores primary care quality, governance, and payment principles.
Recent work includes studies on mobile healthcare teams, interorganizational collaboration in integrated care, and management control practices. She leads projects funded by Forte and KEFU, focusing on elderly care coordination and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Active in peer review and international advisory roles, Glenngård contributes to UN SDGs 3 (Good Health) and 10 (Reduced Inequalities).
