Anna Freeman

Anna Freeman is an Associate Professor and Anniversary Fellow at the University of Southampton. Her research focuses on respiratory diseases, including asthma pathophysiology, COPD mechanisms, viral respiratory infections, and pulmonary fibrosis. She supervises PhD students Tommaso Geraldo Morelli and Martha Purcell in infection and inflammation studies.

Her work integrates clinical and experimental approaches to understand respiratory diseases.
