Anna Eirini Baka

Anna Eirini Baka is a Research Fellow at the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Heritage, Ca' Foscari University of Venice, and an Associate at Harvard University's East Asian Languages and Civilizations Department. She holds a PhD in International Law and Philosophy of Law from the University of Hong Kong, funded by a university scholarship and the Hellenic National Scholarship.

• Aristotelianism and Neo-Confucianism in human rights frameworks
• History of legal ideas
• Psychoanalysis and legal self-determination

She has advised the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Hellenic Parliament, conducted archival research on conflicts like the Sino-French War and South China Sea disputes, and contributed to the University of Kenya's Africa Journal of Comparative Constitutional Law.
