She holds a PhD (2013), Master's (2000), and Bachelor's (1998) from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, with her doctoral thesis focusing on immunochemical studies of dental pulp vessels and 3D representation.
Her research specializes in regenerative endodontics, particularly leveraging stem cell technology for dental tissue repair, and explores dental pulp biology, 3D reconstruction techniques, and clinical endodontics. Recent publications emphasize systematic reviews and experimental studies in regenerative therapies.
She received the Postdoctoral Research Fellowship (2019-2021) from Greece's State Scholarships Foundation for her project: "Regenerative techniques in Endodontics: study of cryopreservation effects on Stem Cells of Apical Papilla (SCAPs)."
Dr. Digga has contributed to international research collaborations, including EU-funded projects on 3D reconstruction in dentistry (e.g., "TASTY" program) and served as a reviewer for the Journal of Medicine and Life.
