Anna De Angelis

Anna De Angelis is an Assistant Professor of Animal Nutrition and Feeding at the University of Catania, affiliated with the Department of Agronomic, Agrochemical and Animal Productions Sciences (DISPA). She specializes in rationing manuals, digestibility, animal feeding behavior, aquaculture, and nutrigenomics.

Her research focuses on nutritional modeling, microbiome studies in animal sciences, and sustainable feed development using alternative protein sources. She actively contributes to academic leadership as a member of the PhD program in Animal Production Sciences and participates in interdisciplinary research through three university centers: Sea Time, NUTREA (Human Nutrition and Mediterranean Foods), and CERNUT (Nutraceuticals and Health Products).
