Anna Copeland is Associate Professor and Director of Clinical Legal Programs at Murdoch University, combining legal practice with academic leadership. Her human rights practice focuses on refugee law, children's rights, and socioeconomic justice, while her teaching centers on clinical legal education and international human rights frameworks.
She developed Murdoch's International Program on Human Rights in Geneva and oversees community-focused legal clinics through partnership with SCALES Community Legal Centre. Research examines access to justice mechanisms and human rights protections for vulnerable populations.
Recognition includes:
- Migration Institute of Australia's Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year (2015)
