Anna Chudyk is an Assistant Professor in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Manitoba, with an adjunct appointment in the Faculty of Kinesiology and Recreation Management. She holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Medicine from the University of British Columbia, an M.Sc. in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, and a B.H.Sc. from the University of Western Ontario.
Her research specializes in patient-oriented methodologies to transform health interventions by centering patient/caregiver experiences. Key areas include:
- Developing patient-reported outcome measures for healthcare quality
- Building capacity for patient engagement in research and care systems
- Cardiac population recovery protocols
- Social prescribing interventions
Her publications demonstrate consistent focus on co-designed interventions, care transitions in cardiac populations, and methodological innovations in stakeholder engagement.
Major awards include multiple CIHR fellowships, Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship, and the Winnipeg Foundation's Women’s Development Leadership Award.
She co-founded the 'asPERusual' podcast on practical patient engagement, advises national/international organizations, and leads interdisciplinary teams at the SHARE Lab at St. Boniface Albrechtsen Research Centre.
