Anna Billingham

Anna Billingham is a Lecturer in Physiotherapy at the University of Worcester, within the School of Health and Wellbeing and the Department of Allied Health. She qualified as a Physiotherapist from The University of Manchester in 2005 and has extensive clinical experience in NHS settings, focusing on neurorehabilitation, long-term conditions management, and elderly care. Her professional development includes a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (2024), the CSP Leadership Development Programme (2021), and certifications such as BBTA Basic Bobath Course (2010) and APPI Matwork Certification.

Anna’s teaching interests emphasize teamwork, leadership, coaching, and service development, alongside modules covering neurology, elderly care, and community-focused healthcare. She is currently developing apprenticeship programs and advocating for widening participation in physiotherapy. Her research and practice concentrate on improving healthcare service delivery and fostering leadership skills among emerging professionals.
