Dr Anna Bergqvist is a Reader in Philosophy at Manchester Metropolitan University (since 2021) and Doctoral College Faculty Head for the Arts and Humanities. She holds visiting roles at St Catherine’s College, Oxford (Visiting Fellowship) and directs the Values-based Theory Network at the University of Oxford’s Collaborating Centre for Values-based Practice. Her academic journey includes a PhD from the University of Reading (2009) and prior roles at the University of Leeds and Glasgow. She specializes in moral perception, metaethics, philosophy of psychiatry, and aesthetics, with a focus on co-production methodologies in mental health policy and clinical practice.
