Rach Cosker-Rowland is an Associate Professor in Philosophy at the University of Leeds, affiliated with the School of Philosophy, Religion and History of Science. Her research focuses on normativity, metaethics, gender identity, and social/political philosophy. She holds a PhD from the University of Reading (2014), an MA in Legal and Political Theory, and a BA in Politics.

Research Interests
Her work bridges metaethics and gender studies, exploring gender identity’s normative foundations and implications for rights. Key projects include a book manuscript on Gender Identity: What It Is and Why It Matters, proposing a 'subjective fit' account of gender identity. She also investigates moral disagreement, evolutionary debunking arguments, and companions-in-guilt strategies in metaethics.
