Anna Bellavitis is a Full Professor of Modern History at the University of Rouen Normandy, specializing in Venetian and Italian history, gender studies, and social history. She holds an exceptional academic rank (2nd level) and serves as Deputy Director of the Normandy Humanities Doctoral School. Her research focuses on women's roles in Venetian society, family structures, and labor history.

Research interests include Venetian social history, gender agency in early modern Europe, and the intersection of law and economic well-being.
