Claire Gheeraert-Graffeuille

Claire Gheeraert-Graffeuille is a Professor of Early Modern British Literature and History at Université de Rouen Normandie, affiliated with the ERIAC research laboratory (UMR 4705). She holds a habilitation (2020) and doctorate (2000) from Sorbonne University and Paris 3, specializing in 17th-century British history, gender studies, and historical writing. Her work focuses on women’s roles in the English Civil War era, anti-Catholic discourse, and the intersection of literature and political conflict.
