معرفی
Anna Arnal Estape is an Associate Research Scientist at the Yale School of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Section of Medical Oncology. She serves as Director of the Office of Team Science (OTS), supporting multi-project grants and fostering interdisciplinary research collaborations. Her academic roles include leadership in Yale Cancer Center (YCC) translational teams and strategic grant development. Dr. Estape holds a PhD in Biomedicine from Universitat de Barcelona and a BS in Biology from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Her research focuses on tumor metastasis mechanisms, particularly in lung and breast cancers, with an emphasis on brain metastasis and therapeutic resistance. She has developed genetically engineered mouse models (GEMMs) to study tumor progression and leverages single-cell analysis to understand tumor-immune interactions. Recent work includes studies on ASCL1-driven osimertinib resistance and RhoA’s role in EGFR-mutant lung cancer metastasis. Collaborations with clinical teams at Yale aim to translate findings into biomarker development and clinical trials. Dr. Estape’s contributions span over 30 peer-reviewed publications, with a focus on oncology, immunology, and translational medicine.
