Dr. Ann M. Steffen is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL), where she has dedicated her career to teaching, research, clinical supervision, and direct services for older adults and family caregivers. She currently serves as Director of Gerontology Programs and Director of Clinical Training for UMSL's APA-approved doctoral program in clinical psychology, while maintaining clinical duties at the UM-St. Louis Community Psychological Service.
Her research and clinical expertise focuses on geropsychology, particularly the adaptation of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for later-life depression.
