Anke Schöning is a Researcher at the Bielefeld School of Education (BiSEd) since 2011 and Head of the Conception and Management of Practical Studies department. She plays a key role in the coordination of practical semesters and research-based learning initiatives in teacher training.
Her academic background includes studies in German, philosophy, and educational sciences, with a career spanning from senior teacher at a comprehensive school to leadership positions in teacher education. She is actively involved in the Federal Association for Practical School Studies (BaSS) as a board member since 2016 and spokesperson since 2021.
