Dr. Anke Hoeppner-Ryan is a Lecturer in Vocal Studies and Unit of Study Coordinator for Undergraduate Voice at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, University of Sydney. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) and Master of Music (MMus) degree. Her research focuses on vocal pedagogy, opera performance practices, and active learning methodologies in music education. She has presented at international conferences including the International Society for Music Education Summit and published works on topics like intergenerational music engagement and Schoenberg’s Lieder interpretations.
