Dr. Anjali Joseph serves as Professor and Spartanburg Regional Health System Endowed Chair in Architecture + Health Design at Clemson University's College of Architecture, Art and Construction, where she directs the Center for Health Facilities Design & Testing within the Richard A. McMahan School of Architecture.
Her educational credentials include:
- Ph.D. in Architecture (Georgia Institute of Technology)
- Master's in Architecture (Kansas State University)
- Bachelor's in Architecture (School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi)
Dr. Joseph pioneers research at the intersection of architectural design and healthcare systems, developing evidence-based solutions for high-stress clinical environments. Her work specifically targets patient safety improvements through innovative built environment interventions, with emphasis on operating room ergonomics and staff workflow optimization.
