Anja Margrete Davis Norbye

Anja Margrete Davis Norbye is an Associate Professor of Health Sciences at the Department of Health and Care Sciences, UiT The Arctic University of Norway, where she also serves as subject manager for the Master in Physiotherapy with a specialisation in Neurological Physiotherapy.

Research Interests

Her research centres on health anxiety, epidemiology and public health, health-services research, and neurology & neurological physiotherapy. She investigates how health anxiety influences healthcare utilisation, its associations with non-communicable diseases and cardiovascular risk factors, and the epidemiological distribution of these phenomena in the general population. Additionally, she explores innovative digital-health approaches, including the use of continuous biometric sensor data to predict migraine and epileptic events.
