Prof. Dr. Anja Bandau is a faculty member at the Romanesque Seminar, Leibniz University Hannover, where she holds the Chair of Literary and Cultural Studies. She is also the Head of Department and Spokesperson for the DFG-funded TransExil research group, which examines transnational networks in post-revolutionary Mexico (1920-1960). Her research spans transnational and postcolonial literary studies, focusing on the Caribbean, Americas, and transatlantic knowledge exchange.
