Anita Keller is an Associate Professor in the Department of Organizational Psychology at the University of Groningen. She holds a PhD from the University of Bern (2013) and completed a postdoc at Michigan State University before joining Groningen. Her research focuses on employee and leader well-being, self-regulation, work transitions, and longitudinal occupational health studies. She serves as an associate editor for Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology and editorial board member for Journal of Applied Psychology.
Research interests include stress at work, career trajectories, and dynamic self-regulation processes. Recent work explores hybrid work models, workload fatigue, and leadership psychopathy effects. She collaborates on large-scale projects like Stress-in-Action and PsyCorona, addressing age-conditional work design and pandemic mental health impacts.
Key awards include the 2019 Best Paper Award from the European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology. Her work is cited in media discussions on remote work trust issues, work-home balance, and pandemic-related stress. She advises on organizational policies to enhance workplace well-being and career adaptability.
