Anisha Chadha (she/her) is an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Mount Holyoke College, affiliated with the Department of Sociology and Anthropology. Her research integrates medical anthropology, science and technology studies, and ethnographic filmmaking to examine cultures of medicine in South Asia and its diaspora.

Chadha investigates Indian medical device invention, focusing on how technologies are conceptualized and tested before market entry. Her work interrogates the ethics and politics of global health innovation, while exploring the applicability of ethnographic methods in engineering contexts. Broad research areas include anthropology of the body, science studies, and transnational political economy.
Her scholarship has received funding from prestigious organizations including the Fulbright Program, Wenner-Gren Foundation, and American Association of University Women. She holds a Ph.D. from New York University and a B.S. from the University of Michigan.
