Aninna H. Persson

Aninna H. Persson is a Professor of Real Estate Law at the Department of Real Estate and Construction Management at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Until March 2023, she concurrently held a visiting professorship in Commercial Law at Uppsala University. She previously served as a Professor of Jurisprudence (Private Law) at Örebro University (2008–2021), and as an Associate Professor at Stockholm University Faculty of Law (2000–2008). Her academic journey includes a Master of Laws from Stockholm University (1990) and a Doctor of Laws (1998), followed by a post as a Trainee District Judge at Stockholm County Court (1990–1991).

Her research focuses on private law, with specialties in credit law, property law, and insolvency law. She has held international roles, including a visiting professorship at Riga Graduate School of Law (2001–2003) and a Marie Curie Fellowship at the University of Bremen’s Centre of European Law and Politics (2006–2007). Persson has advised the Swedish Government as a Special Adviser to the Ministry of Finance (2012) and Ministry of Enterprise (2015).
