Anil Joseph is a Professor in the Health, Human Performance, and Recreation (HHPR) program at Spring Arbor University (SAU), where he has served since 1992. He concurrently serves as head men’s and women’s golf coach. Previously, he held roles including admissions representative, department chair of HHPR (6 years), and key developer of SAU’s Physical Therapy Clinic and sports management major. He earned a Master’s in Exercise Science (Western Michigan University) and an MBA in Strategic Leadership (Western Michigan University).

His research interests focus on integrating athletic development with academic leadership, cross-cultural athletic initiatives (e.g., Uganda program), and program innovation in health sciences. He has over 25 years of experience in collegiate athletics and strategic program design.
Anil has led the expansion of SAU’s sports management curriculum and clinic infrastructure. His coaching and teaching roles emphasize holistic student-athlete development. No awards are listed, but his contributions to program development are highlighted as institutional milestones.
