Dr. Anil Chandrakumara is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Business, University of Wollongong. He holds a PhD in International Organisational Behaviour and Management from the University of Sheffield (UK). With over 25 years of experience, he has taught and held leadership roles across institutions in Australia, the UK, and Sri Lanka, including Head of School and Program Director for the Master of International Business. His research focuses on global business strategies, leadership, CSR, and employee well-being, with publications in journals like Thunderbird International Business Review and Australian Accounting Review.
He has received multiple awards, including Best Journal Paper (2012) and Best Conference Paper (2014, 2009). His editorial roles include memberships on the boards of Corporate Ownership and Control Journal and International Journal of Business Ethics and Corporate Governance. He has supervised doctoral research on topics like psychosocial safety climate and task performance. Current research includes a funded project on CEO profiles and business performance.
Teaching and supervision interests span values-driven leadership, global strategy, and corporate governance. He has contributed to academic governance, staff training, and advisory roles in both private and public sectors.
