Eshani Beddewela is an Associate Professor in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at the Huddersfield Business School, University of Huddersfield. She also serves as Deputy Director of Graduate Education and Subject Group Leader in Research at the Department of Management. Previously, she worked at the University of Gloucestershire, University of Bradford, and University of Colombo (Sri Lanka). Her academic career began after a role as Assistant Manager in Human Resources in a Sri Lankan public sector organization. She holds a PhD from the University of Bradford as a Commonwealth Scholar.

Her research focuses on CSR governance in multinational contexts, corporate social reporting, and responsible management education, particularly in developing and least-developed countries. Her recent articles explore topics such as CSR disclosure in emerging economies, environmental governance in GCC countries, and sustainability performance in the hospitality sector. She guest edits special issues on CSR governance and sustainability accounting.
