Angus MacCulloch is a Senior Lecturer at Lancaster University's Law School, specializing in Competition Law, EU Law, and Regulation. He holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Dundee (1992), an LL.M in European Law from Strathclyde (1994), and an M.Phil from Manchester (1997). Before joining Lancaster in 2006, he was a Lecturer at Manchester.
His research focuses on antitrust enforcement, EU free movement principles, and the criminalization of cartels. Key projects include analyzing UK cartel offense efficacy and EU law challenges to Scotland's Minimum Unit Pricing policies. He edits the Competition Law Review and co-authors a leading textbook, Competition Law and Policy in the EC and UK (6th ed.).
Recent articles explore global criminal sanctions in antitrust, Scotch Whisky Association litigation, and EU competition-consumer law intersections. He advises on PhD topics in Competition Law and EU Law, supervising students like Luca Simonetti.
