Angelika Haase

Angelika Haase serves as a Lecturer at the University of Rostock, teaching educational psychology for primary, regional, special education, and secondary school teacher training programs since 2015. Her academic role centers on preparing future educators through evidence-based psychological frameworks.

Her research investigates critical intersections of mental health and educational practice, with current focus on:

• Promoting mental well-being among pre-service teachers
• Developing self-reflection competencies in teacher training
• Constructive resolution of classroom conflicts
• Verbal/nonverbal communication dynamics in school environments

She currently leads the national research initiative BePrax-PTSD(-II) (2023-2026), analyzing real-world treatment protocols for posttraumatic stress disorders in German outpatient clinics. This work bridges clinical psychology with educational contexts, examining how trauma-informed practices impact school settings.
