Angela S. Mattie

Angela S. Mattie, JD, MPH is a Professor of Management and Professor of Medical Sciences at Quinnipiac University, holding dual appointments in the School of Business and School of Medicine. As Concentration Director, she co-coordinates the medical school health management/leadership concentration and previously served as founding chair of the Department of Healthcare Management & Organizational Leadership. She has established herself as a prominent figure in healthcare policy and management with extensive experience in both academic and professional settings.

Her research interests focus on the intersection of healthcare management, policy, and leadership. Mattie's work explores critical areas including healthcare compliance, quality management, corporate governance in healthcare systems, and the application of analytics and AI in healthcare operations. She has pioneered interdisciplinary approaches to healthcare education, developing programs that bridge business and medical disciplines to prepare future healthcare leaders.

Her scholarly output demonstrates a strong focus on healthcare quality, policy implementation, and organizational leadership.
