Angela Knox

Professor Angela Knox is a Professor of Management and Academic Director of Professional Development at the University of Sydney's Sydney Business School. Her research focuses on precarious work, job quality, skills migration, and employment regulation in the service sector. She holds a BSc(Hons), MCom(Hons), and PhD from the University of Melbourne. Additionally, she is an Honorary Professor at the University of Warwick, UK, and a Senior Fellow with Advance HE.

Her research explores workplace bullying, temporary work agencies, and the impact of product market strategies on job quality. She collaborates internationally on projects addressing issues like workplace harassment and employer demand for skilled migrants. Professor Knox has authored or co-edited several books, including Job Quality in Australia, and her work appears in journals like Work, Employment and Society and Human Relations.

Recognized for her teaching excellence, she has received over ten awards, including the Dean's Award for Teaching. Her media engagements include commentary on cost-of-living pressures, remote work, and migration policies. She leads grants funded by the Australian Research Council and other institutions, focusing on topics such as youth employment and sustainable employment practices.
