Angela Eggleton

Angela Eggleton is a Teaching Fellow in Law at the Birmingham Law School, University of Birmingham. She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education and is a Fellow of Advance HE. Her teaching spans Contract, Criminal, Land, and Public Law, with prior experience in Tort Law and Legal Solutions modules. She actively contributes to the Centre for Employability, Professional Legal Education and Research (CEPLER), supervising pro bono initiatives.

Eggleton's interdisciplinary research focuses on emerging technologies and their regulatory challenges, with emphasis on:

• Robotics in healthcare systems
• Legal frameworks for electric vehicles and circular economies
• Intellectual property in tech innovation
• Environmental law applications

Her publications explore themes like patient safety legislation, AI ethics in medicine, and socio-legal aspects of robotics. Recent works demonstrate a consistent focus on technology governance, healthcare policy, and sustainability law.

She leads a pro bono family law project with local barristers, supervising 30+ students to assist litigants. As former Client Interviewing Lead, she elevated the university's national competition performance. Eggleton is affiliated with the Birmingham Institute for Robotics and Clinical Legal Education Organisation (CLEO), with project experience including NERC robotics-law initiatives and the Faraday Institution's lithium-ion battery recycling program.
