Angela Davy is a Senior Lecturer in Nursing at the Department of Health Sciences within Brunel University London's College of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences. She serves as Programme Lead for the PGDip Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) programme, covering Health Visiting, School Nursing, and Occupational Health Nursing. Additionally, she is a Queen's Nurse and Brunel University's Breast-feeding Lead.
- Specializes in Infant Mental Health, Post-natal depression, and Mother/Infant attachment
- Lead for the Unicef Baby Friendly Initiative in the SCPHN programme
- Practice Link Tutor (PLT) and Academic Assessor for student health visitors
Her research focuses on infant mental health, breast-feeding, post-natal depression, and mother-infant bonding. She contributes to public health education through teaching roles in Health Visiting theory, health promotion, and policy. Outreach activities include expert speaking engagements for Boots Parenting Club webinars and Sigma Theta Tau affiliations.
