Angela Crossman is a Professor and Interim Dean of Faculty at John Jay College of Criminal Justice (CUNY). Her research focuses on children's memory reliability, deception development, and adolescent sexting behavior. She holds a PhD in Developmental Psychology from Cornell University (2001), with prior postdoctoral training at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Dr. Crossman's work bridges developmental psychology and legal contexts, addressing topics like forensic interviews of minors and legal implications of child testimony. Her research has been funded by the National Science Foundation and Canadian SSHRC grants. She serves on the editorial board of Child Maltreatment and is an APS Fellow.
