Keith A. Markus is a Professor in the Psychology Department at John Jay College of Criminal Justice (CUNY). His research focuses on causal models, test validity theory, statistical inference, and applications of latent variable modeling. He co-authored Frontiers in Test Validity Theory: Measurement, Causation, and Meaning and collaborates on studies involving partner abuse, deception detection, and policing ethics. Markus holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from CUNY Graduate School/Baruch College (1996). He has served as associate editor for Psychological Methods and Structural Equation Modeling.
